Working like a Bee for a Really Sweet Treat

Hey there! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted because I’ve been working like crazy. 

I’ve spent the last week working in the dining hall of my alma mater. With the start of a new school year and the craziness of Welcome Week, the kitchen was in need of a few extra hands. So I drove down to Crown College for the week to cover some shifts and train in the newly hired freshman. It was a long and exhausting week and I put in way more hours than expected. I worked all the way through the weekend, then drove home just in time to get back for my regular job on Monday.

I have now worked for 17 days in a row! But I am not complaining, because I only have to work for two more days, then I head back to the cities for…

Boy am I excited! 

Just like a little worker bee, I have put in a lot of hours. But that hard work always results in a very sweet treat. A bee eventually gets to eat their honey, I eventually get to enjoy seeing my very favorite artist and belting out every lyric to every song with my very best friends. (update: read about it here.)

Okay… In all honesty, it wasn’t all work this weekend. I did get to see my second favorite artist play a set at his music store’s grand opening.
